How to deal with sudden power outage of oil press

The stop of oil press can be divided into two types, one is normal stop, the other is abnormal stop. When both cases happened, how should we deal with?

Pressed peanut oil

1. When stop the oil press normally, all the material should be pressed completely. Keep the screw axis moves back and forth several times to make the remaining material in the press chamber of peanut oil press out with cakes produced, then stop the oil press.

2. When the oil press stops in emergency due to power failure or other reasons, first cut off power supply. Take the emptying baffle out to discharge the material. Then, reverse the triangle belt pulley by hand and move the screw axis back. If the screw axis can not move back, then do not pull the triangle belt pulley, instead you should loose the gland nut and remove the upper press cage. Try to loose the pressing ring (pour hot water on the pressing ring to soften the material or cake in the pressing chamber of peanut oil press). Then, pull the screw axis out and clean the pressing chamber of oil press. It is not allowed to start the machine without cleaning.

3. Dealing with a sudden power outage of an oil press will depend on the specific type of oil press and the circumstances surrounding the power outage. Here are a few general steps that you can take:

Check the power source: First, check to see if the power outage is localized to your oil press or if it is affecting the entire building or area. If it’s a localized issue, check the power supply to the oil press to ensure that it’s properly connected and functioning.

Assess the damage: If the power outage has caused damage to the oil press, such as a blown fuse or circuit breaker, you’ll need to repair or replace those components before the oil press can be restarted.

Restart the oil press: Once power has been restored and any necessary repairs have been made, you can restart the oil press.

Check for quality: After restarting the oil press, check the quality of the oil produced to ensure that it meets your standards. If there are any issues with the quality, troubleshoot the oil press to identify and address the problem.
